I love the teaching style. Definitely helped with clear clarification. Thanks for calling us what we will be, “experts”. You guys are great teachers.

Thank you for the videos!! I just completed an eight week course on ICD 10 and I am not confident yet. I definitely have to reread and practice. I have a CPT class beginning next week and I just listen to the information and try to absorb the lessons.

I’ve watched so many videos on the changes but this is the only one I’m able to truly understand, thank you so much! (Love the visuals, scenarios, and questions you came up with!) I can’t believe they changed H.E.M for office codes, so crazy!

There is incorrect guidance given at the 48 minute mark regarding the specialist ordering and reviewing the CXR. Per the new guidelines, providers cannot get a data point in column 2 for tests that they order and perform. This is already included in the reimbursement for the procedure.

Thank you, but these are CPT guidelines not billing guidelines and are appropriate most for the coding exams.

Hello there! I have been having problems making the providers understand that not all visits constitute 99214-99215. In my work setting we have lots of patient's coming in for follow up on routine wound care. On top of billing the debridement codes they feel that 99214 needs to billed because of the fact they were seen in the office. Active wound care is already included in the debridement charges that are sent out. Don't know what else to do.

I have a question, the guidelines states that the time on Date of encounter shall be considered so is it the exact date or 24 hours since the start of visit. For example a provider sees a patient at the day end, next morning he comes in evaluates the patient record, documents the visit and signs the superbill, can he include this time too?
