I had the same reaction. But uhm uhm 🤓 Actually: the project died years ago and someone decided to remake it from scratch and continue it on a different engine

Totally awesome! I was just telling my sister I can't imagine how Top Man's spin will be incorporated in the game. I imagined him boring through dirt with spins, but the gates work. The top seeker looks really cool and I love how accurate to his boss fight it is. I wonder if it will be better than Magnet missiles in game. Hope it's not too overpowered then. The boss fight seems all right. I was thinking the top spin would have a bit more functionality to it. Maybe hard mode can make those rocks fall from the ceiling to give you a bit more incentive to protect yourself with spinning. Not like I know much about level design though. This video comes off as slow, but I imagine that'll be worked out for gameplay. I love this project and thank you so much for continuing it.

Well, I tried it and already am hating this one which sucks because the past two were great. You can hardly control Top Man which is a huge gripe for me and you expect us to do that spin attack while jumping with delayed controls on the Drill Man stage? The energy amount they all use when using their special abilities is far too much at a fast rate...these are THEIR powers, they should not be sucking their energy that fast. I know you want to do something different and make the bosses have different moves which I am for, but seriously, you NEED to fix those controls on the playable character because seriously, Top Man skips about like he wants to do ballet, or something...weird. You can't walk on short platforms without being able to keep yourself from falling to the spikes, or dodging enemies. Stick with the ideas of the last game, the controls worked perfectly with them without fail. Top Man has to be able to run normal and not do that weird thing that makes him unplayable. And even when I use Magnet Man on his stage, I have no choice, but to switch to Top Man to do the Top Spin dash, JUMP on narrow platforms to break through walls without falling to my death...That is why I deleted it, and it sucks because again, the last two were done perfect. This one was just..idk, fire the guy who made those controls. And in case anyone has something to say about my "abilities" in playing: I've been playing the MM series since it first came out, and still have every nes, snes, Psx, ECT cartridge/disc of every game since then in my game room, and I held the world record TWICE in both MM2 and MM3. I'm older than most of the cars you all own here, in fact I know I am. I'm more than capable of difficult jumps, I love a good challenge, but when the controls are bad, that is when I have to take issues and lay it on the table. And I'm saying this all so you know about the bugs/issues I had in my experience in playing the game, not to just sound like an ass. In all honesty, I wanted to love it like the others, but...well, you already know why I can't. Fix the controls, fire the guy who programmed them in, and I will try again. I have faith and willing to try again if things are done different. In all seriousness, fix Top Man.. He deserves better than that, the players deserve to play him without feeling like a ballet dancer ready for a St. Patrick Parade...in Boston.

The trick to Top Man is to jump around to move. He doesn't really run like other RM; he more or less skates around, so he will go forward a little bit, stop, and then skate forward again. IMO it's a bit awkward, but considering how broken the top seekers are, there has to be some drawback to balance him out, which in this case is his mobility (his jumps are also shorter than other RMs). And if you want to talk about the first A Day in Limelight, well, there was Guts Man who can only hop around.
