ATWT must have had an enormous budget back then-- I cant believe how large the cast was! I love that they used to have so many characters visiting for the holidays, too, so it really FELT like something special. Nowadays, you would not have even seen Jessica with her whole family like that-- she would've just disappeared until New Year's.

That scene where Lyla tells the Peretti's she's going to marry Cal is so sad :( I hate that the show wrote Lyla out and then trashed her later on and then forgot she ever existed! Lauryn Hill shows a lot of dramatic potential.

Oakdalian Her father was a different actor also. Her original father acted on a sitcom called Roc (with Charles Dutton )as his father.
