honestly having both the vst3 and the furnace variant would be excellent, really looking forward to seein this come to fruition no matter where its at, you do great fuckin work

I really like the song and all it's covers. Your take on it has been great!

Dude, even though this tune is using your fictive sounchip. The music you can make with it really rivals the tildearrow sound unit, which funnily enough is also a fictive sounchip. but that one is actually usable with furnace tracker. Imagine if your soundchip was available on furnace though. good grief, you'll be having an instant rave party with that chip of yours. It sounds extremely good!

Ill have to see if furnace allows 16 channel dsp matricies but aside from that it could be doable in tracker software hopefully! And thank you! Glad to see people enjoy this tinier work.

The bass elevates this cover to my #1 version of the song. Easily. Bar none.

I gotta know how I can get my hands on this tracker!! This is the closest thing we're gonna get to a GBA styled experience~

I can only hope that tildearrow is going to get to making it possible for furnace tracker, otherwise im also working on making a scratch-based ReaJS plugin variant for use in any daw that supports vst3
@Zylenxx Жыл бұрын
(which, ReaJS is free, btw- kinda neat)

What I'm getting at is this is custom? 😮
@Zylenxx Жыл бұрын
Yep! Currently fully custom!

idk how to really describe it, but this has such a different tone from the original in a wonderful way. its like "do whats right for the sake of the world" or something

what are the limitations of this chip? how does it work
@Zylenxx6 ай бұрын
The operators are FM driven with waveforms freely choosable, essentially acting as a beefed up N163. Instead of full samplerate however, the operators are locked to 32 samples per cycle in the V2 iteration, and in the V1 could choose between 16 and 32 (which later was decided against since 16 samples per cycle is... barely enough) The only limitation of this chip is really its channel size and DSP; The DSP is part of the actual songs information, unchangable during playback. This means all the send variables and the internal delay settings are fixed per-song. Borrowed from the SPC700, the actual inner workings use ARAM, atleast that is planned to be how it works. Theres no real hardware equivalent yet, however.

that is cool :)

If this is any sort of tracker file (i.e. Furnace) would you mind passing the file? (very inexperienced comment, just wondering if it's possible ^^) Thanks :D
@Zylenxx Жыл бұрын
This is sadly not implemented as a tracker module yet. Sorry :‹ im still working on a hardware / tracker schematic!

What chip is this?
@Zylenxx Жыл бұрын
This is a fictive chip. I yet am planning to add some mini video of how its concept works, but once that is done, you people might get to see what it is and how it might get implemented as hardware!
