In this video I'm re-experimenting with silver alcohol ink mixative. If you watch my videos you'll notice how I ALWAYS use a gold ink to add texture and shine to my paintings, this is because the gold floats on top of the colors and then when dried down the metallic sits on top and shines. It's a little bit different with silver... I find that it always seems to sink to the bottom of the alcohol and blends in with the color rather than making distinct lines and shapes, it's much less shiny. Either way I think I've made peace with this different effect and tried the silver with purple flowy lines. Thanks for watching!
