I wish she had spent less time cleaning the paint brush. She should have showed the painting of the form with the Gesso, then a final image of it completed. Otherwise it is good.

This was a video for my art students and part of the project was learning to clean brushes.

you probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks =)

I totally agree, I mean the painting proces of the sculpture would be much useful then show how to clean the brush!
@Catjegirl1002 жыл бұрын
A small side note with cleaning the brush: when the brush has a wooden handle you actually wanna let it dry on its side, if you let it dry bristles up it may damage the wood or split a bit. But with plastic this is not an issue obviously

How long will the stocking last if I just paint it with gesso and leave it? (or use plaster to make sure the shape stays??

LOL, jokes on me. I searched for abstract air dry clay sculptures and I got this. I was thinking you were going to cover the whole thing in thin flat clay "sheets" now that I think about it, couldn't this method work for that as well?

Only painting is not enough sorry. Need to plaster it, let it dry and after paint. Your brush washing technique I don’t like :) the basic idea is good !
