"I do this for my father who I've only seen from time to time in my dreams.. I do this for you... " God damn this line hit close to home. I lost my dad in 2015 when i was 14. I had a memory of being in PE and getting an A in the high jump portion along with 2 other people... I was a foot and a half shorter than them(one of the shortest in my grade). My first though was i can't wait to tell my dad about this! then suddenly the realization hit me. Since then i've been trying to do everything for my father, the one i see time to time in my dreams.

Im so sorry ... I have lost my grandfather when I was around 2 years old . I cant remember anything from him. The only thing that I remember and can still see is his blanket that my grandmother has kept at her house 😭 So I know how you feel But obviously a grandfather is not as important as a dad.

I remember listening to this song while playing bo3 after getting home from an exhausting day of school. Those were simpler times back then, I was still just a kid. If I could go back and relive these times just once, you bet your sweet ass I would. Going back and listening to this song, I’ve realized how fast I’ve aged. Time really does fly, and I’ve over time learned to take every opportunity to truly appreciate my life and the people I’m surrounded with! -To whom ever is reading this, don’t take time for granted, and have a good life friend!

matt the taller because he isn't original. He is an adopted white rich kid from Wyoming who stole Eminems delivery, Q-Tip's GODDAMN NAME, and a ton of black culture and influence. Uninspiring beat with cliche lyrics that are predictable and sound like they were written in a teen girl's yearbook. The most vanilla shit i have heard in a while. Paid out the ass for production that would make anything sound listenable not by hustling and busting his as to get there, but paid for by rich parents. I live to hate this sad piece of shit😈

... this song... It helped a friend of mine, who's entire life was more than a struggle... I love the song... I can relate to it, but barely, because I'm not the kind of guy it's aimed at... But my best friend, my brother... He is. And he's way too strong... He's way too unique for me to imagine a world without him. This song... This song gives him a place to relax, and confirmation that he isn't alone. I... I can't thank Abstract enough for giving him, and so many others, this. It's an audio based recharge for people who need it the most... And it gives a special kind of power I've never seen anything else give. So, thank you. For being there for my best friend, when I wasn't enough.

"I do this for my father because these days I often wonder, what my life would have been like if I was not adopted, to grow up in a home where I was treated like a problem, I don't know, it's just a guess, your guess probably good as mine, lucky that I grew up in a home that wanted me to shine." Those lines hit home, hard. I was adopted at 1. Lost my mom at nine and my dad at 14. Damn. But my adoptive family has been there for me through everything.

I grew up without a father and over my lifetime my mom has tried to fill this hole with other men. Almost all if not everyone would leave her physically and mentally beaten. She turned to alcohol and meth. We became homeless a few months ago and my mom said that it would be best to move in with my pastor so I did. He has become my second family along with his wife and 4 others just like me. My mom has been clean for 4 months know is fighting for her life. That is why this song makes tears fall down my face that I didn't know existed.
