Thank you so goddamned much for this. I started painting about 7 years ago, and began thinking I needed paint and some brushes.The mystical paradise I thought I would have expressed into existence seems more like a battle zone or a vast stretch of land fresh from hosting a tornado. Hundreds of KZbin hours, from quantity of gesso coats, color mixing, tips and hacks that are mediocre for the most part, paint texture commentaries, anecdotes and semi-helpful opinions on medium and gloss types, image transfers, frustrating bob Ross street corner spray paint videos that in 2 minutes, a plate & a corner of newspaper later reveal breathtaking spacecapes of the universe, are strewn about my once imagined paradise. This is probably the most helpful and concept-provoking video I’ve seen. Not sure if talking through this would have negatively affected the outcome of the video thank you for just showing process, the ‘ diy ‘ elements you incorporate, and for getting to all done in a practical ( modern and sad ) amount of time suitable for 21st century attention spans. Thank you Thank you Thank you! p.s. Thank you! Also if you have a chance to respond... curious as to actual start to finish timeframe ( drying time(s) not necessary )?

Amazing, andl with small brush. I could watch better without the music - find after a few minutes, feels like a fly buzzing around my head. Its not terrible music, just repetitive. I would much rather listen to the brush sounds on the canvas, you breathing, and whatever other noises are in or around your studio. It always seems like I am in the studio with the artist whereas the music keeps me outside. I realise this was speeded up so the recorded sounds would be too and be weird. But I could watch this real time. Just my opinion, but was good stuff and thanks for sharing.
