How do you paint a work of art after your own inspiration? Where do you get your inspiration from and from what do you draw colours, shapes, lines, patterns? Painting is about more than just techniques. Today I will show you again an easy approach to painting, a simple technique but also how to follow your own inspiration and intuition. You go back to painting in a detached way. The first layer of paint is very simple. Simple tools are in the foreground. You can simply use a brush, the window wiper, a cake lifter, a squeegee. Have a look around the house, because the window wiper or cake lifter, as I have already shown you, can also be used to colour whole surfaces. First you apply your acrylic paint, a beige or sand, and spread it over the whole canvas. Then add the other paint (different shades of red). Take the paints of autumn. Leaves change colour and serve as a colour guide. After the first layer of paint, others follow. Make the painting appear calm and work as a quiet ingredient in my room. I think you can set a highlight in every interior design with the abstract pictures. It always fits. The lines and patterns that I have drawn with chalk and pencil leave beautiful lines. You can also use oil crayon. In the book on page 43 you can find the theme of your paints and on page 16 you can see the division of the pictures into areas. On page 40 there is something written about the pencils.
Have a look at the channel. There are many more abstract and figurative pictures as instructions. You will also find painting on aluminium foil or a rescue blanket here. Let yourself be relaxed about the painting.

Liebe Petra, das ist ja mal wieder was ganz anderes ...suuuper schön 🧡 Die ruhigen sanften Farbtöne, wie auch dein minimalistisches Motiv, wirken auf mich entschleunigend und passen wie ich finde gerade wunderschön in diese Jahreszeit. Ich finde, dass man jetzt im Herbst durch das intensive Farbenspiel viele Formen in der Natur klarer erkennen kann. Ich mag deine Farbwahl sehr. Liebe Petra, dieses Bild ruft den Herbst und Kindheitserinnerungen in mir wach. Ich liebe die Kombination des grausilbrigen Judastalers mit dem leuchtenden Orange der Lampionblume. Dazu noch rosa Dahlien und mein Herbststrauss ist perfekt. Meine Grosstante hatte den Judastaler mit Lampionblumen und Grasdolden in einer Bodenvase auf der Treppe dekoriert. Ich habe immer einen kurzen Moment auf der Treppe halt gemacht und die Blumen bewundert. Dein heutiges Bild mit dem Judastaler und orangen Blättern spricht mich deshalb dieses Mal auf ganz besondere Weise an. Soooooo schön- eine richtige Herbstfreude!❤️

Liebe Petra, endlich Sonntag... Als ich zu Anfang das Bild sah, dachte ich, ooops... Diddl Maus... Sorry, nicht böse gemeint 😘 Ich habe mir dein Video 6-7 mal angeschaut. Nach jedem erneuten Anschauen fühlte es sich stimmiger an. Die Formen /Farben + Kombi der Kreide machen das Ganze für mich perfekt. Da ich fast alle Videos von dir kenne, war diese "Art" von dir, für mich neu. Auch diese Bild, einfach nur grandios...mehr ist nicht zu sagen. @@Kuenstlerstreich4me Oh, Thank you for getting back with me! With having so many German ancestors, you'd think I'd know how to speak German or at least read it. I'm going to hold out for the English version though LOL! Until then, I'll keep painting and maybe I'll post a few. I actually did a version of your female bust figurative abstract painting and it turned out so beautifully. Thank you again for responding! I simply love all of your work and it keeps me so inspired. Hallo Karin, die Videos sind quasi entstanden wegen und für meine Kurs Teilnehmer-innen. Ja, es gibt einige wöchentlichen Kurse. Allerdings sind alle Plätze belegt. Eine Warteliste ist vorhanden.
