Awakening
I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2021, after suffering a trauma and major loss in my life in 2020.
I’ve been using Art Therapy almost daily after work. Some evenings I paint, and others I get lost in writing.
I am soon starting a year long meditation and journaling journey. This painting is exactly what I am feeling. Open. Ready. Willing. To just be.
I think it’s a great time to open up about grief and trauma. During this healing process I’ve found that many are ashamed of their own grieving. Their depression. Including me.
