What brand of pains do you use and any helpful tips for affordable large canvases when first starting out?

I use Amsterdam, Laqutex, SAX and Blickrylic. The most affordable large canvas you can find at Walmart

Every time you first put on a swath of florescent colour I cringe but it is amazing to see how you blend the colours until it is perfect. What a lot of money I have wasted on paint brushes when all I needed was a sponge. 😥

The best sponges 🧽 you can find at Home Depot. There is a pack of big size car wash sponges for $8. I usually cut this sponge in to different size and shape pieces. It’s the best

Thank you very much my dear 🌺🙏❤️ I’m glad you like it 🙏. The very first layer was Metallic Brass. I started my painting on a black canvas. The canvas doesn’t have to be black. I just painted it in black, because it was used.
