Here I show you again an abstract picture. The golden city.

This technique is also suitable for beginners. You can see in the video how I work it out. You can do it the same way or completely different. Be inspired by the colors or just use your colors.
How did I get this picture?
My first aid kit from the car had gone out again. Of course, since I had to buy a new one, I did not just throw the old one away ... It was a little treasure in it. A rescue blanket in gold;)
In addition, I have just become aware of an upcoming William Turner exhibition.I especially like his Venice pictures. The light, the colors, the landscapes.Even as a child, the Impressionists impressed me a lot. The style of Impressionism was also a revolutionary art period in which women treated art as a social protest.
To the technique:
I've added a structure to the Rescue Blanket Gold Foil. the foil beats wrinkles, which I use as a structure, and I use the luminosity of the foil for shimmering effects. You can see how I apply the gold foil with thicker acrylic binder. That was very easy. The drying took a while. But I already started painting when it was not completely dry.
The adhere was rather the "problem". The color is not adhere on gold foil. That's why I let the paint layers dry well. after drying, the color is stuck.
The painting process is fun, because the paint slides easily over the surface.

black, white, gray, real blue
Orange, pink, Havana (dark gold ocher)
Tools, the material you need:
Canvas, rescue blanket gold (alternatively aluminum foil silver, leaf metal gold or silver, primarily gold), acrylic binder or glue
Spatula - to find the structure and distribute the color
simple, large bristle brush - to apply the color
flat bristle brush - / yourcreativefruehstuec...
Water, rag
Take the color away:
To scratch out the color, you can use the handle of a brush or buy a kind of module.
Alternative to the Art-Modulur:
In the nail care there is a "horseshoe-pin", which you can take with you.
the spatula that you also use to apply the paint
cardboard
TIP !!! Very good for taking out the color is: the stem of a flower - the best of a tulip! Just cut a bit - a bit diagonally - and you'll have a great tool to remove (paint) the paint!
It is always worth having a few flowers in the house;)

Habe gerade deinen Kanal entdeckt und bin fasziniert von deiner abstrakten Kunst. Bislang konnte ich damit immer nichts anfangen, deine Bilder jedoch bringen für mich eine Stimmung rüber und das schafft mir einen Zugang. Ich selber habe vor einem Jahr angefangen mit Aquarellfarben zu malen, mit KZbin, und ich liebe es. Mir gefällt auch sehr die ruhige unaufdringliche Art mit der du erklärst.

I love it. Such a great idea using the gold blanket. I save the seals that come with Nutella or coffee or a can of nuts that are gold. Also the seals on cream cheese that are silver. Oh, and yogurts too. I haven't used them yet but I think they will be cool to work with. Some are a lot thicker than what you used but i think it will add a lot of depth/texture. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful painting. Its funny that since I started working with different art projects that I see everyday items as possible things to use in my art.

Tolle Idee, auch wenn die Folie sicher nicht abgelaufen ist gg aber cool eingesetzt und umgesetzt. Hab nun auch heute meinen ersten Versuch mit Alufolie gestartet, und auch gleich mit ner Collage, und vorher war ein Stempeldruck drauf, entweder wirds genial oder ich bin morgen am übermalen. Wunder-wunderschön! Der Einsatz der Golddecke und der gesamte Entstehungsprozess sind genial. Ja "Werkzeuch" ist ganz niedlich. 😘 Meine Idee wäre, nur den Mittelstreifen der Folie zu verwenden. Da hätte es die Falten im oberen und unteren Rand nicht. Vielen Dank, dass ich beim Entstehungsprozess dabei sein durfte.
