I agree with the Borla s-types. I have a comp orange with 9800 miles. Was told to leave it stock. But way to quiet. Put the Borlas and love them. My 01 cobra has flowmasters.way to loud. Thanks for the great videos.

I bought mine with cai, full offroad exhaust with longtubes, smaller pulley and a tune. Puts down 465whp. Funny story, I bought it from a dealership and they gave me the "some old guy owned it before" and when I took it to the track, the previous owner was there and recognized it! And it really was an older guy, and turns out it wasn't even his "fun" car lol

Yes, the stock Terminator exhaust is way too quiet, that's why I put a Magnaflow stainless cat back on mine. It makes the car much more fun to drive and no highway drone, it only gets loud when you get on it. Also look into a shifter upgrade, MGW is a good choice. And hold onto all the stock parts.

On my Cobra I had a Diablo tune, BBK cold air intake, stock headers n H pipe with flow masters. Being I live in Caliunicornia! If I ever move out of this micromanaging state I would install ceramic coated headers, X pipe, Borlas or SLP Loudmouth's, and all stainless steel piping!

Check the oil with the engine off for an accurate reading. With the engine off the oil will all drain back to the pan so you get the correct reading. The oil was not low, you checked it while the car was running, that’s all. Always check transmission fluid with the engine running though. 😊

When you change the exhaust, H pipe will give you an old school rumble sound, and X pipe gives it a raspy, higher pitched sound. Whichever you like better..

I recommend you get a full bassani exhaust system including mid-length headers, x-pipe and 3" catback. I have it on my whipple terminator cobra with 621 whp and it sounds terrific!

I used to own a 03 Terminator 10th anniversary and the only modifications that I've done to it was put Flowmaster Mufflers 40 series 2 chamber it sounded really good I now own a 2004 Lincoln Aviator with the factory Mach 1 motor 4.6 4-valve with flowmaster exhaust and she's a real sleeper

Change the exhaust only and save the originalin case the next owner wants to keep it original. In fact, any mods you do, you should keep the original parts for the same reason(s). Just my 2 cents...

I have the 2001 svt cobra(finally!!) And yes, the exhaust is not loud compared to my aftermarket exhaust. So yes, some direct fit atleast, would make a world of difference, in the whine of supercharger sound as well.

That Cobra is so neglected. Corsa exhaust will sound good. I have an 04 with basic bolt-ons. 2.76 pulley, Accufab TB and plenum, Bassani full exhaust with hi-flow cats and X-pipe. JLT intake, H&R springs, MGW shifter, Big Mouth MAF. 480 RWHP. Whipple upgrade on the list. Keep in mind that Cobra is an 18-year-old car, keep driving it that way and things are going to break.
