الأصل أن كلنا بشر أولاً يعني كلنا عندنا عقل ومشاعر عاملني على هذا الأساس قبل ماتعاملني على جنسي سواءً ذكر أو أنثى...المشكلة هي معاملة الأنثى على أن ماعندها عقل أو معاملة الذكر على انه بدون مشاعر وهنا يبدأ ظلم الاثنين...والحقيقة ان فيه نساء أذكى من رجال وفيه رجال عاطفيين اكثر من نساء وهذا بسبب طبيعتنا كبشر..اختلاف النوع عمره ماكان مقياس لأي شي.

HONESTLY ANAS, I've been following your interviews for more than a year now (since Aseel's), I just couldn't miss any of it. So I feel it is necessary to tell you as a 25 year-old that most of your discussions helped me shape a better point of view about life. I got answers for questions I haven't even thought of, SO THANK YOU ANAS, YOU'VE BECOME ONE OF MY ROLE MODELS... As for this week's topic, I have noticed that arab series (till this day) have been presenting a very disturbing image for masculinity, the man is often portrayed as the abuser who can beat the shit out of his wife and get away with it because "he is my husband, my everything, that's how he shows love", that women are the reason why a man betrays his wife, that she is supposed to forgive him and never shout back at him or defend herself etc...

Loved this episode, I think we need to have more dialogues regarding controversial or taboo topics especially in the middle easter. Great to see individuals willing to use their platform to discuss such a topic that could challenge current societal views.

I love the concept of the ABtalks specials👌👌one of the very few Arab channels that discussed masculinity, which is a concept that many people misunderstand. I learnt alot from this episode. In our Arab societies there are many misconceptions and toxic cultural norms regarding what's manly and what's not. Actions and character is what defines masculinity and feminity first and foremost! It's true that as we grow older our perception of what's manly changes, and like Azza mentioned, it's how people treat you that defines that. Discuss more social issues!
