That should last over 10 years minimum. My friend as. Jade 10 year old chair never had issues using it everyday. Only the material is starting the be damaged but with a little blanket on top you can see it. Also I was told to buy it with brushless motors

What about using massage chairs as regular chairs? I'm thinking of buying two cinema chairs for our cinema room but if massage chairs are comfortable to relax in even without any massage program active then it feels like a win-win.

Only fair to clarify that a chair claiming 4D has no additional capability than a 3D chair, don't let ANYONE fool you. Rhythmic movement, wrap-around air bags, ability to speed up the roller massage, you will find on 2D and 3D chairs so don't let anyone tell you that 4D chairs have additional benefits or "hits different areas" of the body because of "4D" not true. A chair might have additional functions but that does not make it 4D, it's just a marketing ploy the manufacturers started for Hype and sales. educate yourself and if a salesperson is telling you any different, move on and find an honest seller.

@@venedar the ability to increase/decrease the intensity (strength) is a very important feature …if you’ve ever sat in one that is way too mild/soft or way too hard that feels like it could break a bone, knows everyone has different pain tolerances ~ ability to vary that is needed !
