You should study tawheed. I think the reason many people are atheist is because of the depiction and idea of god proposed by religions like Christianity and Hinduism, etc… Tawheed is the original doctrine of Abraham, Moses, Jesus And Muhammad is the universal messenger of YHWH, sent to restore that which was lost and corrupted. Islam means submission to God, every other world religion is named after a person, place, or event. This is why Allah chose it as the only appropriate religion to have a relationship with him

Even some of your sheiks and imams are saying that muslims spend too much time in prayer and they become indolent and not productive... muslim majority countries are way behind in societal health and wealth (unless they were lucky enough to find oil on their lands)... is that enough of an answer??

The strongest drives living organisms have is to survive… so our drives like hunger and thirst are there to make sure the organism survives… and the drive to procreate is also one of the strongest in living organisms… attached to those drives, especially for social species, such as ours, the survival of the tribe usually trumps survival of the individual…so we see parents and family sacrificing for the young…as the young is the future of the tribe. There is NO good evidence that any other ‘purpose’ exists. In humanity, because we are self-aware… have the ability to think in the abstract etc… we can impose a different meaning on our lives.. but that does NOT come from on high… and the easiest way to know this is that different religions give different purposes… so it can’t come from on high as they do not agree… As to why we live and we die… that is because that is the nature of organic life. When the organism cannot readily and efficiently heal any damage it suffers, including the daily damage from our environment, the organism fails to continue to exist… all part of the natural cycles of life. Again, nothing imposed from on high… *********Idk what you are atheïst probably so for an atheïst there is plenty of evidence in tough times. When all the questions come like why this why that? I am dependent on this planet and the resources of this planet… and I was dependent on my parents, who were dependent on theirs all the way back to our first emergence as a species, from previous species, our ancestors and they went all the way back until we got to the very first life on this planet… the single celled organisms that arose from the earliest organic materials that arose from the nonorganic materials around us. We have evidence that organic material can spontaneously come from inorganic material… we do not yet have the full picture, but we have the outline, shall we say, that shows that this was possible, from completely naturalistic processes. Your attempt to put a ‘who’ into this picture is dishonest and erroneous. None of our scientists have claimed that a ‘who’ was at all required… and this includes believing scientists. ************Let me know and Allah swt knows best Allah, like every other of the 10,000+ gods mankind has worshipped has never been demonstrated to exist or to be necessary. He is just another mythological entity like all the others. The only difference, is that his religion is still active.. but he is just as nonexistent as zeus and ahura mazda or Odin… so no... he doesn't 'know' anything... since he doesn't seem to exist in reality.
