How do I clean the worm bearing?

Worm bearing? Do you mean worm gear? I use compressed air in a can and blow the heck out of the worm gear then re-grease.

I tried using a toothbrush with that Ardent reel kleen and the bristles disintegrated, lol.

Never has a problem. As you can see in the video, I use lots of different types of brushes and never has any disintegrate.
