There's a darkness in this album that's so difficult to ignore because it's so soulful and genuine. Even the brighter songs, which could be like any sunshine-y J-pop beat with a little editing, are shrouded in this distinct, thick membrane. This is especially clear in the contrast between the sound and the unsettling imagery of the album cover and the thematic throughline relating to immolation. Everything else is uniquely intense and emotionally demanding to listen to. The whining, droning brass and strings reveal an ache, like a snapshot of someone's journey to the edge. I don't know how the lyrics translate to English, but if I could hear them for what they meant, I think it'd paint a lot of frustration with the world. This is a fantastic album which constantly kept me on the edge of my seat. I definitely recommend the listen.

i really love the concepts of abuseken's songs, really love with how he mixes up different instruments. Flower war, want to be cremated and christ are one of my favourite songs from abuseken, the way he mixes the flute sounds create an eerie vibe yet it mixes so well together?? hell yeah! cant wait to see more from you
