If you wanna travel the same day you need to arrange a car. Or else you can take a bus or train. Bus will take 3.30 hours and train 5 to 6 hours. Or arrange a tour guide who can pick you from Kutaisi, thats what we did. Use an application called Yandex for the local travel there, same like careem here in dubai.
