I think the soul king wanted Ichigo to come to the soul palace to train, as he knew that eventually he would be the one with enough power to kill him and end his endless agony. From being sacrificed to torn apart and your body parts dispersed and usurped for power to being used a vessel to keep worlds together for thousands of years!!!! Too much for 1 soul I think ❤❤❤❤

Ichigo is far stronger than Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, but if you are talking of first Quincy invasion then of course Ichigo is not, he has been using a small fraction of his power.

Definitely not at this point. Actually I am not even sure even at the end he gets stronger. Yamamoto had power to destroy all of soul society alone which I don't think Ichigo has shown the power to do.

Ichigo is far more powerful than him, only Aizen and Yhwach can fight him on equal grounds or defeat him. No one else even Ichibei can come close to adult Ichigo.
