Really good pick :) these locks are good fun. Btw you can tell ifnit has butterfly discs from the bow on the key. Yours has an older bow design (square) so not likely to have butterflies but that it no way changes your fantastic accomplishment picking this lock :)

Awesome picking mate. That takes some navigation inside that padlock not to loose track. Thanks for this video, great to see you get this open, cheers

Great picking, Jon!!😲 Nice work! Discs picking is another thing I am intimidated by because of the price of picks and locks. I also feel like in the US, we don't see a lot of disc detainer locks out in the wild. There isn't a real proliferation of them even with government agencies besides the DOD with the Abloy 655 or 658.

I’ve never seen one in the wild. The tools are expensive… it’s a great fun side challenge, but it’s a total lock-nerd type of skill, and unfortunately it’s an expensive part of the hobby to get into. The sparrows pick and the Chinese DD locks aren’t cost prohibitive, but thats the trap that draws you in.

Wow, great picking. Mid tensioning seems very confusing. Amazing that you can master it like that. Keep up the great work 👍

The hard part is tensioning with such a small tensioner - it just slips all the time, and the swap can be tricky. The theory isn’t too confusing, but it took some practice to execute it. I’ve got an 88/50 which is more challenging that I’m still working on.

well picked! other alternative for mid tensioning is 3in1 pick. then no need to swap so many times the picking tip used for the tensioning.

It is, I love the tools, my wallet hates them. Off to go see if the bank wants to own my house three times over now...
