Other path is where you delaying your m1 at a time, making them confused that they think they can just take a few m1. It can be annoying for them if they tried to guess is it charged or not in a short time. The only way to counter this is by perfect dodging the first m1

The dev needs to buff or rework the long guard style, cause it's too weak if compare to other style, from his low m1 block damage and his dash is kinda bad, the only good thing about long guard style is his above avarage range. Long guard is in my opinion is the weakest among the common tier style, and the leash used style in the game, i've seen more turtle main than a long guard main. In conclusion i think people dislike the long guard because the style did not have a unique stats that the style have like damage Dash or special skill, i mean yes long guard have a above avarage range but it's not even noticiable. A tip for new slugger players is to hold back on those m2s if ur opponent is prone to backdashing and instead punch them into the ropes or a corner as a way br able to corner them. Thisis surprisingly really easy as well due to sluggers massive m1 knockback

Oooh that’s why i kept getting the opponent in the corner, that’s actually a cool playstyle. The m2s are somewhat useless to backdashers but if you corner them it’s gg. And they also can’t just sidedash out of the corner since they’ll probably eat a big mean right. Maybe make slugger have more endlag on the m2 though for balance purposes

I really want a slugger rework. For a style that is meant to be Takamura, the best boxer in the series it is very hollow, the charged M2 gimmick is neat but still, when you compare it to other gimmicks it's very simple. The style is called slugger because it only captures the brawling aspect of Takamura which is it uses long winded and telegraphed punches, this style is basically non-serious/street fight takamura The one you're wanted is a serious/boxer version of Takamura which includes all stats crank up to 11 which would be super broken

I just got an idea for a slugger rework lol so here imma tell it. Slugger A bear slaying boxer who has no fear of fighting someone who is more stronger. Base mode:your punches are the same as the old one but the difference is the m2 is slower Adrenaline:(needs to be at last round,and yes it changes the damage of the ultimate)your punches are faster and more heavier than usual you take extra counter damage(lets say 33% counter dmg) but you feel less pain. Ultimate:adrenaline rush (The ult will look like the eagle vs takamura fight in where takamura got blind We can make the desc more shorter i just explained the modes hope you like it people and jwordz:0
