Abused Esco Hydraulic Elevators - Red Roof Inn (MSY Airport) - Kenner, LA

Taken May 5th & May 12th 2024 respectively.

These are definitely typical elevators in a motel like this. Both shake noticeably on camera. The first elevator chimes once for both directions while the second one is wired backwards. These definitely need some help. Despite the mod being relatively recent, these definitely aren’t holding up too well. However, the first elevator has a better motor than the second, even though both of them are blocked off by the fan and you can’t hear the motor from the machine room outside on the second one. The one thing I do like about these are the ceiling panels, they are rather cool. As for the rest of the cab, it’s basic stainless steel. The floors appear to have been remodeled at some point relatively recently.
