I'm a proud mom of 4 rescue fur babies that came out of the same horrible circumstances. 1 was particularly aggressive to people as we found out not only were they making dogs fight, they were also making the dogs fight with humans. Perhaps this was the case with the black and white dog. It took 2 years of hard work and dedication not just from myself but several incredible people from the rescue organisation and he turned out to be the biggest baby of them all. I can't imagine my life without a pit bull or staffy they rescue me in so many ways in return. 💙💛

My friend had a rescue dog from fighting. His face had scars literally all over it and he was a huge ball of muscle but he was the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. He was good around everyone and everything but other male dogs. Even with these dogs being threw the worst and being taught the worst they are so easy to rehab and make into a family pet.

What I love the most about "Pit Bulls" is all they really want is love and respect. The moment Villa Lobos and the veterinary staff showed these pups the smallest amount of love, they were all butt wiggles, tail wags, and kisses.

We rescued 3 in our town. They have the best lives now. We took two my brother took one. We love them and they are spoiled rotten. Our girl was used after her breeding ended as a bait dog. She has scars but she is very loving. The two boys were fighters. Some lacerations that were treated. I wish all these rescues do well. Thank the heroes at Villalobos. True heroes♥️♥️♥️

i wish you guys had a branch of your rescue in the north jersey or new york city area ive rescued pits since a teenager and rehomed them and wish i could some way make it my career saving dogs and have tried to volunteer and work at my local aspcas since a teen but because im a felon covered in tats and even before the felony could never find a rescue or shelter or aspca that wanted me even a volunteer or a worker. Thats why i love you guys doing what you do it shows plenty of us convicts are more then what we appear just like pits even after going through all that trauma these dogs are still little sweethearts.

My last foster was a puppy mill mama and a bait dog. They ground down her teeth. Covered in scars and giant masts in breast tissue. Sweetest dog I've ever fostered.

I used to volunteer for a pit bull rescue. Not usually fighters. Once I saw 2 of them fighting randomly. They got along and weren't fighters. That day it had been storming. Something triggered it. I hope I never experience it again. Very traumatic. Both lived though. It's hard to stop believe me. We tried. The fact that people do that day in and day out and don't give a shit about anything but making money off cruelty I will never understand. They must have no heart and be pretty shitty people. They need to go to jail for a long time.

My 10-12 yr old dog named Kei who was a plot hound was in a fighting ring once, her ear was torn off by another dog but the only reason she was put there was because they thought she was a pit bull... She died of a car accident a year or 2 after we got her 😭 I miss my McDonald's obsessed pup

Can you tell me why you have the overly-aggressive dog on a leash instead of letting him run around free?

I would imagine its so that they’re able to safely get him back to his kennel afterwords. If he’s aggressive he might lash out when they go to put him back on a leash after his walk, as they might end up cornering him and risking an incident. Also I’m sure that by associating human companionship with outdoor walks and exploration it helps him feel more positively towards people over time. 👍🏻

Why would you have a human aggressive dog off leash when people are around? Are you just going to let him bite someone? The pond is a place for all the dogs to go, but most have to stay on leash because of people and cats, and so they don't jump the little fence. I assure you they have plenty of time and space to run off leash
