Cotton swabs can do damage to your ear drum even if you don't ram them into your brain. They push ear wax back into your ear canal (bad). Liquid ear cleaner is one of the best ways to clean your ears. Hydrogen peroxide for about 10 minutes is also helpful for clearing clogged ears. Love the content Capitan!

*Don't use cotton swabs to clear your ear* They were invented to clean the ears of babies, but this is one of the most useless and dangerous things you can do with them. Cleaning an ear with cotton swabs will have two effects: It will signal your body to produce even more earwax to get the foreign object out of your ear, AND it will push some of the earwax down your ear, where it can lead to infections. Some good uses for cotton swabs are to apply and clean makeup, and doing handicraft. This invention simply is not suitable for the thing it was invented for, use it for something else.

Another reason for imba, is that some races can be forced into short term units. Observe! Zerg might have to build a bunch of corruptors for anti air, and then the units become near worthless if the opponent stops building air. Zerg can be forced into roaches by early shennanigans Protoss builds colossi for a very narrow window to stay alive vs tier 1 terran marines, then vikings come out and colossi are done terran doesn't have any bad units they can get forced into.

That second game is why I build pylons at that patch of minerals... Every time i play that map I see people try to do this or something similar and it really smells of bad cheese :) Heck, I did it to a zerg and double robo'd in his base :)

I have no specific information to prove this with blizzard, but my guess is that MMR is actually calculated with decimals but only visually represented as whole numbers. Thus when there is a “missing” point (e.g., harstem gains 22 points and the opponent loses 23), it’s just being rounded up and down. So in this example, harstem gains 22.3 points and opponent loses 22.7 points.

about the barcode not gg-ing: I think they are more likely to gg because they make an account in order to improve, and whenever they lose, they gain knowledge! and so they are thankful for that your regular tryhard sc2 player is just there for your mmr tho, so people on their original accounts are more likely to get emotionally invested in a game, and a loss would certainly upset them more than a barcode player

I think theres a bell curve of barcode GGs. At low levels, it's entirely smurfs and mega newb tryhards. They lose, they get angry becasue they are so much better than you (ostensibly). Middle ranks? Cheesy buggers having fun running people's day, and if they get cheesed in retaliation it's perfection. Then at the top levels you get barcodes who are super tryhards who only GG offensively.

What about unranked barcode players? They make me the most upset, I feel their actual mmr is a couple 100 points higher than their opponents. So they typically win, and don't have to risk their mmr while I'm losing tons of it to a player I'm supposed to loose to. Tilts me the most for sure lol

Regarding your hypothesis: I feel like at that high level, barcode players are actually good players who actually use the barcode to hide their identity and try stuff. So they're probably actual proper good players (maybe pros) and maybe more likely to GG. Also they've mostly embraced the cheese life and less likely to get totally tilted by it
