No matter what anyone does, assaulting anyone for a dumb reason can get you in a load of trouble. That professor who gave that student a black eye for plagiarism should have spoken to that student calmly without letting it turn physical. Then he threatened to give one to the student's mom is totally unacceptable. If it were me, I would whack that professor real hard for giving the student a black eye. But God would tell me to let that guy go and pray for him. The bottom line is, I would report Professor Harry to the police and have him arrested. Professor Harry, in this case, would end up in jail or in the grave.
