Road trip is cheaper. Spent 25000 to and from mumbai to manali including toll and 5000 for overnight stays both ways. So 30000 total and please note we were 4 passengers. My self wife and 2 daughters.

For 4 people yes its cheaper. Coz including flight cost and everything more you pay as you keep on adding passengers. For us, 3 pax, it comes in equilibrium with air fare. But either ways road trips are more fun

Hi Ashish and Vanshika. Tremendous stuff Ashish I like your DIY attitude and how as a family you are exploring India. You both are packing in so much in one single life and helping your son appreciate life and travel. We also love going on long drives and hence can relate to a lot of your problems especially clean washrooms. We solved this using a privacy tent and portable toilet arrangement both available on Amazon. It’s given us complete freedom and absolutely no worries of contacting any kind of infection. I am also planning to do some modifications for these trips. Keep vlogging it’s great to see you guys travel.

Hi Ashish - When you are traveling, how do you ensure that you are filling diesel in a good bunk? Do you fill normal air into the tyres or Nitrogen? How much air pressure, considering you are 2 + 1 and some luggage? A couple of PSI above normal or recommended pressure for 3 people?

I prefer my diesel filled from cities only. Avoid highway pumps. Fuel pumps in cities have regular clients so they have to maintain quantity and quality. Secondly i never exceed recommended air pressure. I fill up normal air. Yes I do deflate my tyres a little while offroading and use my air compressor to fill up when I hit tarmac again

which car is okay for long drives? tata harrier diesel auto or mahindra thar lx petrol auto #abventures

Depends on your requirements. Thar is a a better off roader with limited seating and luggage space. Harrier has more space but limited offroad capabilities compared to Thar. Rest both are good for long drives

One more difference between road trip and air trip is time required for travel. Most of the time we have limited time for any trip. This hinders me and many other for going to road trip.

I am ffollowing lots of travel vlog in youtube, most of them are solo travelling and travelling with friends but your's is unique b,coz you travel with wife and small kid and enjoy good family time with them. I had forwarded your videos to my friends who think that it is difficult to do long road trips with small kids, You are right, road journey is full of fun., no limit for carrying luggage in own car, stop anywhere as per your need,. Being a tourer (motorcycle) myself I try know how it feels for four wheelers to be stuck at jams specially at mountains where we pass easily. Hello, thanks for watching and subscribing. Frankly all tall cars are bumpy. If you are going to have mainly highway driving you can check Innova or xuv 300. If budget permits have a look at Isuzu Dmax vcross. It can be modified into a mean beast. Or have a look at new thar if space is not a constraint

Yup all good bro. Thanks for asking. But we Can't change a 2 yr old car like this bhai. Budget bhi hota hai. Anyway any given day we'll prefer Scorpio over innova. Cause maybe its more comfortable but its costly, looks like a cab or van and also it has limited offroading capabilities anyway thanks for watching.

Thanks... Scorpio se pehle I have driven a honda city for 3 years, swift dzire for 7 years. I also own a hatchback Ritz, for daily city commuting. Sedans are fun to drive. Fast and more stable on corners. But jab offroading, long distance trips ya luggage capacity ki baat aati hai, nothing can beat a hardcore SUV.
