Chongyun is really good with Ayaka, with a Fav/Sac GS he can battery Ayaka really good (not that useful in floor 12 but yes) and he also decreases cryo resistance when his cryo field ends.

You are right, it was a little chaotic in the first day because the new system, but nowdays applying the snapshot on Xiangling she can do 60k - 45k of damage on crit and vape. (Abusing the ER system and changing her build to full dmg)

Amazing showcase. how is your Ayaka ult hit 17k crit dmg so easily ? i have the same build, stats, and Weapon (R1 Blackcliff) but never hit more than 12k, i need to use bennet to even get 14k. is Chongyun somehow can help Ayaka's cryo dmg?

An Anemo user equipped with viridescent venerer set for 40% resistance reduction by 10 sec is crucial, Chongyun helps rarely when his E finish for 10% cryo res. reduction by 8 sec, Xingqiu has the noblesse set for 20% more atk and remember to start the combos with Ayaka hitting the enemy with her dash for 18% more cryo damage for 10 seconds.

@@drivilz If you don't have a spare anemo unit, running barbara with thrilling tales can also amp your ayaka damage as much! You even get easier setups for freeze with an extra hydro unit, you can also weave in auto-attack for the abyss buff using barbara because her ult is usually always ready

You could try with Barbara, her 2nd constellation and the hydro aura help to Childe and Xiangling, remember to give the extra 48% atk from the book to Xiangling.

Since I have C1 Childe and sometimes Benny burst and Childe E is already up but my Xiangling burst is still down. Currently my Xiangling is using Skyward spine with 2Crimson 2Nob, Atk Sands, (Since I don't have good 4crimson substat) Lately I started farming EoSF for Baal and somehow got a good pieces so I was also thinking of making XL with 4EoSF. My comp are Kazuha, Childe, Benny, Xiangling (They are my go to comp if I'm having difficulties with abyss of any content)

@@kingjin6767 I'm farming the same set for baal, also it can be the best choice for Xiangling in long-term so good luck with those artifacts rng!, but with your weapon and current set you still can exploit the ER system of the new abyss with some practice to give her the particles. @@tinsang5721 Both are great but i prefer Chongyun's aura, he needs less investment, you can constantly apply cryo and hit faster with any sword/polearm/greatsword, cd and cryo res reduction.

​@@tinsang5721 I'd say Kaeya as he is a Monster in freeze teams. His ult has way better damage than chongyun and his skill on frozen targets gives tons of energy, meaning you can build more damage. Chongyun is decent but you'd want him at C2 for Cooldown reduction and ideally with high refinement Sac greatsword to instantly trigger the Cryo res debuff (and not wait for the end of the skill). But in any case if you have a VV debuff, the cryo debuf from chongyun isn't that significant. Also, the cryo infusion isn't that useful for Ayaka as she already has her own.
