I appreciate how all the girls give it their all. I don't know if their characters were even partially based on them, but you don't have to try hard to see Neo, Sophia, Elsie and Weronika come to life in them.

(Spoiler of Bandori season 3 ahead) If I have to speculate it can be totally a mix of self insert and D4DJ lore, Bushiroad is not new in this kind of story writing indeed the 3d season of Bandori was inspired a lot on Otsuka Sae (Tae VA) experience with Raise a suilen in their pre debut era.
