I'm in the same boat broonzy - especially the mid-80's stuff that was mixed so horribly in the studio. This band resurrects those riffs with much better sound and brings them on strong.

The House Band is better to watch than, well, all of the Tribute bands that I've seen on KZbin, and that is no disrespect to Tribute bands. The House Band does a fantastic job, you are just doing great versions of great AC/DC songs, brilliant! I don't like watching Tribute bands to be honest because I just sit there wishing that I was watching the real thing and feeling disappointed, even if the music and performance is excellent; AC/DC can't be impersonated in my humble opinion which is what Tribute bands do, again no disrespect to them, they do what they do, and fair play to them. The House Band is a group of AC/DC fans doing great versions of AC/DC songs, bloomin marvellous. In my view, in terms of the performing AC/DC songs, from what I've seen and heard, you sit in 2nd place only behind AC/DC themselves, that is the highest praise of what I can give you!!!!! You can be very proud of what you've achieved!!!!

Hi everyone, I'm getting a few comments about the "Gretsch" on this cover, so probably best to do a general comment for everyone. It was custom built from scratch by a UK luthier around 15 years ago I believe (I purchased it from the previous owner around a month ago). It's been built to be as close as possible to Malcolm's "Beast" from the early AC/DC days. It's got a mahogany chambered body with a pressed maple top, and ebony fingerboard on a mahogany neck, so it is for all intents and purposes a vintage Gretsch. The humbucker isn't connected and the neck Filtertron is a dummy pickup, but the correct inner routes and back plates are on there. The bridge pickup is a Gretsch Filtertron with an alnico magnet. Absolutely loving playing it since I got it, and you'll be seeing more of it on future covers!

This is amazing - so close to the new song. I am so amazed AC/DC took songs Malcom and Angus wrote in 2017 before Malcom died, then the original band got back together as Phil Rudd’s house arrest had ended, Brian Johnson’s hearing had improved, and Cliff Williams wanted to come out of retirement to pay tribute to the late Malcolm Young. More amazing - this is their first #1 hard rock song on Billboard in the USA in over a decade as it hit #1 this past week in November. Fans are coming out everywhere to support this band and it is nice to see.
