Axl is pheromonal in this. I can't believe I'm saying this. never thought he'd be good after 1992 but he's back
@Anjohl5 жыл бұрын
Arguably better than ever!
@MusicIsMyReligion898 ай бұрын
He's always had this. It just is very difficult to do so and degrades his voice. Which is why now he's having to rebuild. So thats why he sings with a clean voice where he can in GNR.

that's just insane! Axl does this justice..

Axl does a real nice job on the earlier AC/DC tunes.

Of course, back when GnR was still a new thing, they did a cover of this song. So it was not new to Axl. And it was a GREAT cover too.

This is why I had no problem with Axl Rose covering for Brian Johnson during that brief run. Brian Johnson obviously is THE guy for AC/DC, but for the Bon Scott era songs, particularly the ones where he hits those particularly high, shrilly vocals, Axl is just WAY better. Plus, he's obviously a VERY charismatic frontman in his own right. It was a cool little period in time.

I've gotta Kudos to Mr R I have listened with great interest in the last few months with trepidation as to the saga that is Axl Rose and a few things stunned me! The voice it is almost back to '86 most times in its delivery! , also he is extremely welcoming , open and he is clearly having fun doubling up as lead singer for 2 of the biggest badass bands in the world and he loves it big time and why not !! It's a dream for him and he is taking it ! It's weird when in GN 'R he is the boss when in ACDC almost every song /guitar solo he withdraws to the back as this is total respect . I am a massive GN'R fan and I always liked ACDC ! Axl has made me rediscover them plus his performances with his own band has intensified my "appetite" (sorry couldn't resist that) Axl would never replace Bon or Brian , never his intention , he's just trying to help at the end of the day , all I'm saying is who else stepped up to the plate and said I will give it a go ......er no one that I'm aware! !

I've never really cared for Brian's versions of Bon songs, but Axl nails it. Screw the "Who's better" argument... what AC/DC has needed for a lonnnngggg time is energy...and Axl brings it. For the first time in years, I'm not seeing the same ol' AC/DC show which had gotten stale. Hoping for an Axl/DC album!

he was absolutely prefect for the role. And happened to be at their hotel and got to meet him and he and Angus were so nice and spent time bullshitting and taking pictures. Everybody knows Axl has a history of being a dick of a performer, but I will swear he was as instantly friendly and fun as anybody you'd want to meet. And YES the show ROCKED.

I saw guns n roses in 1988 when they were the opening band for Aerosmith. Now I'm going to Philly on 9/20/16 to see Ac/dc with axl rose. brings me back to the 80's a little bit. As for the singing, Axl is getting better at every show. Angus can still rock a guitar. Should appreciate that ac/dc may be done after this tour?
