Just gotta be careful not to hit the G string (A note) or it's all over. That will sound just awful.

Hello Andy and the viewers, a little question? i have a normal guitar but i whant to buy a electric guitar so do i need a amp to get that sound or can i just buy the guitar and get this sound without the amp?? some websites say its only amp and some say without is thesame so i'am stuck thanks for reading and sorry for my english its not my mother language
@andycrowley7 жыл бұрын
+Leroy Cochlovius Hey Leroy! You do need an amp for it to sound like this, otherwise it will be very quiet and clean sounding. You need a guitar, amp and a lead to connect the two. See my recommendations for any budget here ➡️ www.andyguitar.co.uk/shop/guitars/

Thanks Andy, I bought your electric starter series based on this video, Maybe you mention it and I missed it, but it seems you are muting between D and A and when I did that it sounded right but maybe its because I'm still pretty slow. Are you palm muting between D and A?

One detail is missing on the main riff: Malcolm hits the high strings of the E chord (2 or 3 stings, does not matter...) with an upstroke after the hammer-on E chord. Does not sound quite right without it.
