Malcolm and Angus had a great bond between each other so when Mal passed away I felt bad as Angus lost someone who has been a part of his life since he was born.

I was there to see that tour as well, at the Forum in Los Angeles. Actually found an Yngwie guitar pick near the doors on the floor (got lucky) still have it. I feel the same about Fly on the wall. One of their bests from that point on, well, this new one is incredibly good though.

As a Glaswegian I believe u can hear the Scottish tone still in Malcoms voice here, the way he says the word we, and particularly the A.c of d.c, the way he says A.C and the "a"of Adelaide, a Glaswegian man who like all the other imigrants had to end up "putting the ozzy accent on" to not be slagged by the ozzys. Even the guitar player in Men At Work, another Scotsman who moved over to Oz when he was young states boldly that after a while, he started putting the accent on to become accepted, trust me 2 all the aussies out there its beyond very hard to loose a Scottish or particularly a Glasgow accent unless your tryin to loose it 😀

@ivanleg6 жыл бұрын
you must be hard of hearing, both angus and malcolm have aussie accents, both of them grew up there
@ivanleg6 жыл бұрын
Is English your first language? Trust me they're speaking with an Aussie accent. Like them, I grew up in Australia. Like them, my parents were immigrants. We all speak with an Aussie accent we got from growing up here. They didn't "live with a scottish family", they lived with THEIR family in the same way I lived with MY family. Our parents emigrated here and we grew up here.

I think Angus and Malcolm's sister had a sewing machine and on the back it said ac/dc. Obviously, you could change the current . The brothers liked the name so that's supposidly how the name came about.

"it's harder than it looks"
@bsnf-5 Жыл бұрын
Three chords? Sometimes, yes. Pentatonic scales? You must be kidding me. Angus is much more than just pentatonic. He plays all sort of scales, modal for instance, like dorian, mixolydian and ionian. Not mentioning all other scales, like the chromatic scale, half-step full step, and his absolutely mastered blues scale. Also, he is not a shredder... He doesn't play scales like a robot, he improvises, and he is one of the best lead guitarists in the world, ever. Just listen to his unique, signature licks. Noboby plays like Angus, no one ever did, and no one ever will. He is a guitar God, just like Clapton or BB King. But I guess you never really took the time to analize any of his great solos, now did you?
@trajanoserravallijr398 ай бұрын
