Piss off anyone who slams Dave Evans. You know what, Rock and Roll is full of 1st singers. Dave Evans has this legacy of AC/DC. Yes, he did not make lots of recorded music/money with AC/DC,but he was the 1st singer. He still rocks, check out his tunes on KZbin. As one Welshman myself,my hats off to Dave Evans!

lol there's a difference between first singers who went nowhere and first singers who peaked with the band. david lee roth was van halen's first singer but it's different with Evans, who's basically like a miscast actor in a failed pilot.

Dave is a good vocalist. This just proves how good AC/DC were at such young ages. The band would of had a different style with Dave. Malcolm wanted the sound to go more heavy and Dave didn’t fit in.

Bands like ACDC become so huge, they achieve godlike status amongst fans. Critics and fans alike can say what they want about Dave Evans, but one cannot deny his role in the founding of this band. Fans and critics should at the least respect Dave for starting one of the most successful and legendary acts of all time. whether or not you agree that he was right for ACDC, he was in ACDC, he Co Founded the group, and should be respected. Rock and Roll will always be about Glamor. ACDC epitomize Glam

I'm kind of disappointed the Bon-era didn't re-record this. With Bon's voice and maybe adding some harder riffs, this could've been a great song to put on perhaps "High Voltage" (except the int'l release, of course!). But, I guess that wasn't meant to happen. I guess you really can't fix what's not broken. Still a really good song. I love AC/DC particularly the Bon years. I'm glad they're still shaking our bones today! God bless, guys!

Where did I read that recently, that in the early days Malcolm and Angus competed between each other as solo guitarists and sometimes both did their solo breaks in songs on stage before Malcolm entirely switching to rhythm playing. Perhaps that was from a book about AC/DC. Anyway, I'd love to see them both doing solos in the later period.
