That's the first and only time I saw them live in Dublin. Does Angus play that solo for 10 to 15 minutes at every gig, incredible, imagine the pressure on you to perform that?

Few men have walked into a tougher situation then the one Brian Johnson walked into in 1980. Fewer still have handled an almost impossible situation like that with the class, dignity, and respect that Brian Johnson has for over 30 years now.
@kidwave13 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Never an ounce of friction or conflict between the Bon Scott years and Brians era. An unfortunate event, losing Bon, that led to, fortunately, ...finding the best possible person, to help the boys continue and move on, while all of them showed reverence, class and respect to Bons legacy. I love both singers equally. Remember, it was Bon who dragged the boys out to see Brian sing, because he loved his voice and stage presence, never realizing he'd discovered the guy who would replace him, after his tragic passing. AC/DC are in the upper upper echelon of all time rock icons, if not the very top! And they have the coolest band name ever!

When you think of Brian joining the band like he did and taking them to the top for years, ya gotta understand he saved the band like no one else could..Look at The Doors, when Jim Morrison died no one came in to keep them going, and they were one of the top 5 bands in the world at the time..So we're all lucky Brian took over and kept them going...

Its so cool to learn about rockstars outside of the stage. We all tend to put them on little pedistals thinking music is all they can do but forget that in real life they are just people like the rest of us. Married, kids, family, hobbies and other interests besides their music. Of course there are always the ones who never learn anything except music and it kinda consumes and makes thier lives harder, but many times as they get older and outgrow it, they turn into better people because of it
@johncollins55523 жыл бұрын
I have met a few of my music and actor heroes, 9 out of 10 were genuine, great people. The one bad experience might just be having a bad day or jet lagged because they are human. I am not a superfan but Ed Sheeran and Brad Pitt are two of the nicest guys you could ever meet. A mate of mine who is normally super awkward and shy socially met David Schwimmer(Ross in Friends) on a street in London filming and they had a friendly chat, he also had a fun chat with Quintin Tarantino! You never know.
