Flick of the Switch and Fly on the Wall are so underrated in my opinion. Both have taken me a while to have grow on me, but if you listen to FOTW two or three times, you'll hear so damn good songs like Danger and First Blood. On FOTS, Nervous Shakedown and Bedlam in Belgium are a few of my favorite songs from the album

Blow Up Your Video is criminally underrated, a lot of the songs on that album is so variated and unique. A must listen if you're a diehard (my favorite track being ruff stuff.)

Carpet Crumbs I really dig Ruff Stuff too a very underated song, Fly, Who, & Blow Up Your Video do have a different sound to them. I have read interviews that it was due to Simon Wright being on drums he uses a different set up & especially malcom used more distortion then that cleaner sound he has on earlier albums & reverted back to on The Razors Edge when they booted Wright & brought in Slade

Great List. Heres mine. 1. The Razors Edge- I just really love this album. The first 4 tracks are amazing. Only 2 songs I dont care for on this album. But the rest I find great to amazing. Also this album holds a lot of nostalgia for me as a kid in the 90s. Definitely a amazing comeback album after many of the disappointing albums that came before. 2. Let There Be Rock- the title track and whole lotta rosie are Bon Scott's best songs in my opinion. Amazing album and very underrated. Not 1 bad song on this album. 3. Back in Black- I know many say it's the best and i can understand why. It's the 2nd best selling album in the whole world only losing to thriller. But to be honest, I have heard this album so many times over the years that for some reason I have grown a little tired of it over the years. But it still a amazing album with not 1 bad song on it. 4. Powerage- another very underrated 70s bon era album. I don't understand why it do that well. Not 1 bad song. 5. Flick of the Switch- a very underrated 80s Brian era album and the only other good 80s album beside Back in Black in my Opinion. I dont understand why this album did worst than the other 80s albums in sales. All songs are great expect for the last 3 tracks are filler. 6. Highway to Hell- definitely a Great Album, but very overrated in my opinion. I feel it's mainly because it was most commercialized in the united states compared to the other 70s albums. I feel Let There Be Rock would have done even better if it had the push this album did. Still a Great Album. I really enjoy the first 5 tracks alot. But the 2nd half has a few tracks I find ok to filler. 7. High Voltage- Great Album, only 3 songs i dont care for. 8. Black Ice- i feel this album has alot of great songs. But It also does have it's fair share of filler. I saw this tour and it was awesome plus some of these songs were in iron man 2. 9. Stiff Upper Lip- a very underrated album in my opinion. I saw this tour as well and it was awesome as well. I really enjoy the blues rock sound from this album. It feels very similar at times to their debut High Voltage. 10. Dirty Deeds- I find this album ok. Besides a few great tracks, the rest is ok to boring for me. 11. Rock or Bust- it barely misses the top 10 their new album for me. It's a ok album in my opinion. The absent of malcom shows a little at times. But it is better than the rest of these next few. 12. For Those About to Rock- beside the amazing title track with the Cannons, what else is there? Not much of anything. Very forgettable. I only enjoy 1 song on here. Its definitely an amazing song which is the only reason I put it up this high instead of at the bottom. But this album is bad and very disappointing compared to back in black and flick of the switch. 13. Fly on The Wall- another bad album. The songs and music videos especially are so silly. At best, this album is so bad it's good/funny. 14. Ballbreaker- very forgettable and disappointing compared to The Razors Edge and Stiff Upper Lip. Lots of bad songs on this album. Only a few ok songs. 15. Blow up your Video- another very forgettable album. Beside the 2 music videos, what else is there? Plus those 2 hits are nothing compared to the hits on my top 10 favorite ac/dc albums.

Powerage is the best AC/DC album, and probably one of the best Hard Rock albums of all time...anything with Bon Scott is 10 times better than with Brian, and of course Bon wrote all of the Back in Black, after that they went down lyrically and musically and never recovered..

At that point, their sound had changed somewhat. Due to issues with the studio where they were recording the album. And FTATR was on a deadline that had to be met. Years later Malcolm was quoted that if Atlantic Records had given 'Mutt' Lange more time to tweak the album it would have as good as BIB.

My dad lets me sit in the sidecar of his motorcycle sometimes and we both love AC/DC, and nothing's more fitting for the soundtrack of two hard-traveling men (more like one and half lol) than one of the best hard rock bands ever. Ballbreaker was the album in the CD slot during my first time riding in the sidecar, and I've loved it ever since.

A serious return to the classic 70s AC/DC sound. To the point where Malcolm and Angus had dusted off amps and equipment they hadn't used in years for that album. Too bad they never really saw eye to eye with Rick Rubin. It would have interesting to hear anther Rick Rubin produced AC/DC album.

I will add what I feel are some standout tracks we seldom hear: COD. Huge sound, killer solo and cool lyricson FTATR. Stiff Upper Lip. Awesome blues intro that is not easy to play and shows Angus at his best with another killer solo. Satellite Blues off the same album. Huge chorus. Sink the Pink and Shake Your Foundations on Fly on the Wall. Just very cool, good songs. Shot of Love. Cool licks and great solo and steady pounding beat on The Razor's Edge. Flick of the Switch. Title track and an awesome riff. Tons more but take time to listen to these.

well, like you said... it's very hard to do. here's mine... 1st of all, all of the bon scott albums go into the best slots with highway to hell being my most favorite ac/dc album of all time. then BIB, then FTATR, fly on the wall, and then the rest of the brian albums. my least liked brian album is: blow up your video. i think the fly on the wall album was great and is way under-rated. brian is 70 now. angus is 64. malcom passed away. phil is out of the band and cliff is retiring. bon died 37 years ago and i'll never forget that day.... very sad day for me. the Rock or Bust album is ok and i'm glad the band has continued. i thought that day in early 1980 when i heard that bon died on the radio that, that was it for the band. now 37 years later for right now it's still going. i don't know for how long though? thx & hit liked!

Powerage brings back the fell of i think 1978 or so because i feel like i felt then when i listen to it today. i bought it brand new the day it was released. something about Powerage maybe i can't ever explain ............. it's the feeling of it !!!!! really though in that era it's real hard to put one album above another for me because they all were so dang good then. sad day the day bon died. i found out the next morning on the radio. in those days the radio was on most of the time.

About your comment on why this album did not have any broadcast on radio, my opinion is that it does not have any blues song, or any classic rock & roll style song, and that's why I like it. I wish AC-DC would make more music like this. Many people say that this album is underrated, but almost nobody knows why, and I think thats the answer. And if we do a more in-depth analysis, the AC-DC albums that are always ranked last are those that have a higher percentage of slow blues-rock songs. And I think that has been a mistake in the last albums of AC-DC; they are very unbalanced, with more slow or medium rhythm song; Could it be because of old age?😕 Although I really love songs like Ride On, etc, but definitely ACDC shines with the songs of very fast rhythm, the songs that move your foot, or as in the case of Flick of The Switch, that make you bang your head. Congrats for your channel. 👍

I’m a huge Bon Scott disciple. After he died it took me a long time to listen to Back in black and this is just me being me but I have to say that no Brian Johnson release can hold a candle to Bon’s work with the band. Back in black is a classic album but I view it as an album by a new band. Now flick of the switch was an okay release I bought it when it came out but it made me so sad that I got rid of it. What can I say I miss The Bon era so much. Rest In Peace Bon and Mal.

Nice list, I can understand Back in Black at #1, I mean it's the biggest selling rock album of all time and I love love love it. But The top 5 for me are all Bon Scott albums. I also think Flick of the switch is underrated by the world, I also like Fly on the wall though it isn't one of their best. The album releases differed some in America but those early Bon albums are pure rock n roll gold.
