You could see this coming with AC. Rushing back to Daytona so he atleast rode it once in the 450s. Burning out with fans for 13th place. That nerve damage is sadly just to bad to recover from. Sad to see him go. But it's caused him other injuries in crashes so it's a smart move on him. Class act kid.

Matt Burkeen had his 450 stolen from a dealership and was not covered by the dealership insurance. He lost big $. That is what that reminds me of. People like him doing the privateer thing and putting that work in, and to have human garbage just take your sh!t. I won't comment on my opinion as to what needs to be done with thieves like this, but some big city judges and DA's need to be let go.

LASIK turnaround is extremely fast. However, I think Forkner needs to finish a complete season indoor and outdoor and keep 2 wheels on the ground to prove he can handle a 250 before they put him on a 450……

Kawi should go with Masterpool, there is a decent amount of publicity that they could absorb along with his abilities. Seems like a reasonable business decision. But than again if he flops who would they blame. Might be a coin toss. Not to mention he is labeled as a privater but (seems like hes got money or comes from money) there are fast guys at most local tracks that could probably run up there if they had same resources available.

If it’s true that it’s been 1282 days since he’s rode I highly doubt he could get back in shape and race speed by outdoors but it would be sick to see Blake back either way. Forkner or Masterpool under Team Kawasaki is a win-win! Whoever gets it SHOULD perform well! If they don't sign anyone, looks like Kawasaki is doing the same thing Honda did in 1999 MX when they fired Mickael Pichon after the High Point race when his dad parked in an ambulance stall and wouldn't move.
