Well done guys. Really helpful video. 2015 Kia Sorento with A/C stuck on hot on the drivers side. Followed your guide and was able to diagnose its the actuator that's failed. I took video so I can go with my wife to the dealer tomorrow who told her they may have to take off the whole dash !!!! Cant wait to see there faces when I mention 3 screws and five minutes work.....

Well done Sir!! I have been watching MANY blend door actuator videos and NONE of them actually shows us how the bloody thing works. They just talk and talk and say do this do that but you are the ONLY person that shows us how that white flap moves. So now I have a question: the hot air comes out from driver side is because the flap didn’t move so no cold air comes out? But how u explain why the air is so hot?

This is a good video! This is just what my van is doing. The air FLOW is the same on both sides but the temperature is different. I need to find out how to change my drivers side. It is also being warmer air in the back. It's a tri-zone temperature control. Can u helped with that? It's a 2014 Nissan Quest

This is great and very helpful thank you. I have exactly this problem with the passenger side being hot. Last year I replaced an actuator that allowed the air to move between zones, (defrost vs floor vs vent) - it was stuck on vent. Is this a different actuator than that possibly. I looks to be in the same place but this issue is different so I am wondering if there is another one I should be looking for?

Hello, i have a 09 jeep grand Cherokee limited with the climate control on both sides like this one & when on AC drivers side blows ice cold, but the passenger side just blows slightly cool just like a fan, then when i turn them to heat they both just blow cool like a fan blowing, basically they both do what the passenger side does when on ac mode. I also hear a clicking noise from the passenger side every time i turn on the AC, like broke gears or something stuck, any idea what i need? Blend door or A actuator, or? No heat on either side? Just AC on drivers side..help please

I have a dodge journey 2015 sxt Canada version I purchased it 3 weeks ago. the left side air vent near by the cluster is not blowing or working . In 2nd row and 3rd row it blows lows cold even I set up into hot climate coz now is winter in here in Canada. Also the 2nd row and 3rd row it blows like a small fan little air only comes out, I wonder if the 2nd row and 3rd row are fan only just to circulate the heat from front vents. Please advise

So what if it does this and it’s NOT a climate control but a manual temperature control system? 1992 lesabre that is manual control and no dual zone. I should be more specific. So when running heat I’m cold on driver side and hot on passenger. When running ac it’s the exact opposite where it’s colder on drivers side than passenger side. My actuator moves just fine

Hi! Great informative video and i have question for you, and problem which driving me crazy after fixing my ac compressor in one of toyota services. I have Toyota Rav4 2011 Limited 2GR-FE V6 and my problem is that when i put air condition on LO its ok there is no heat blowing out. But if i put just TEMP+ to just 65 degrees only (just first higher one avaiable after LO) it starting to blow ultra lava heat on my face. I checked on OBD2 Port whats going with Torque aplication and it showing me : passenger+driver inlet temperature set : 95F. I was wtf lol thats too high and when i go Temp+ values also going high so if i set 65F it shows in OBD 95F if i set 75F in car, it shows me 105F in obd. I remember i was checking these parameters 2 years ago and they were FINE and now i have 30F difference. It is possible to make correction with techstream or something? Please answer, its making me cry lol! They just fck'ed it up in toyota service and they wont fix it since "They dont know how to" Please answer! :((

So I have a 2016 Dodge Charger SXT and it’s doing what you’ve shown in your video but it’s blowing cold on driver side and passenger side is blowing a bit warmer not cold. So I checked if the actuator on passenger side would move if I changed the temperature, it moved so even if the actuator still moves but still blows warm air. Is it the part that is still broken.
