What serpentine belt did you use and what size pulley did you have to use right under that tensioner?
@MrGriffin23 Жыл бұрын
It was a super long belt. I wouldn’t recommend based off my current set-up. If I had to do this all over again, I would have just bought an after marker R4 compressor bracket kit. However, I understand everyone has different situations.

At the beginning of your video, you mention an article was written on this subject. I hope you don't mind me posting the link to the article. It has very useful photos. www.gmt400.com/threads/how-to-use-a-stock-90-95-tbi-ac-bracket-on-an-ls-motor.16827/

I am installing this on my engine get idea. What idler pulley and spacer did you use on the lower hole. Thanks

I have since gone away from this set-up. I can’t remember. I think I had to use a smaller diameter pulley to make my belt fit. If I had to do it all over again & if I had the funds, I wouldn’t just purchased an aftermarket one. It was a lot of work for an ok set-up. It did the job tho.

Why didn’t you go with a Sanden style compressor? I’ve heard that these pancake style are shitty compressors and they go out quick, I need to do the same in my truck but I only want to do it once

J P Cuz I didn’t want to spend that much. This entire set-up cost me $300 and everything is new. Also, for as much as I drive the car and where I’m located we don’t need AC much anyway. For me it’s just a luxury, but good to have when I need. I have had this same compressor on my GBody for years no issues

MrGriffin23 That makes sense 👍🏼

I have that same compressor on my 1992 S-10. It was replaced in 2010. It ran in Florida for 18 years... The one from 2010 is going strong 9 years later... hope to get 9 more out of it.

How it work?
@MrGriffin232 жыл бұрын
Eventually it ended up working good. I wouldn’t recommend it tho. With the amount of work it took me to do it and make it work I should have just bought a $200 aftermarket AC compressor bracket. But if someone is looking more budget this will definitely work.

What belt did you use?
@MrGriffin235 жыл бұрын
Lone Wolf I am still using my same procharger belt for my set up. The belt that I got to run the AC and all my other accessories and my pro charger ended up not working. So I have to go another route.

@@MrGriffin23 Ok thanks for the reply I was gonna try this but I'll just order a A/C bracket off eBay.
