Bro, I like that you pointed out the hold-up might be because Zirkzee is the one pulling the strings, not his agent. I thought I was crazy for considering that, but it could be possible since he knows big teams are lining up for him and can afford the fee. I don't blame them for that. My concern is that AC needs to secure another good player and not waste time, losing out on better options available in the market, like we did with Taremi, Dybala, and Thuram last time. We shouldn't repeat the same mistake, especially since Inter now has a strong attack with Taremi, while we're still looking for our No. 9. I don't mind losing Zirkzee as long as we get a better player, and there are a few out there who would be a better addition in my opinion. Hope AC acts quickly.

The solution to this problem is simple. Tell Zirkzee to fire his agent, and tell him that he will get a boost in salary for doing so. when he decides to the club if you get another agent that offers a reasonable commission somewhere around one or $2 million range, Milan should sign him. if he refuses to fire the agent, we should look for other profiles.

there's still plenty of time and the situation might change. But Milan can't surrender to Zirkzee's agents fee. It seems as if the agent's plan all along was to try and get Joshua to the prem as he works for an English football agency, which can be backed up by reports of him having a lower agency fee for Man U. hopefully, the inclusion of Joshua's brother is enough to sway the tides, but if not, there are cheeper, less desirable, but cheaper alternatives, that can help us focus more heavily on our first choices for other positions.

Any smart club always has alternatives, Zirkzee isn't the only centre forward available. Last seasons transfer window showed that we aren't always aware of who the club is really looking at. Could Zirkzee have been a decoy all this time with Milan knowing they would not pay the 15m agent fee? I believe Ibra when he says, Leao, Theo and Magnian aren't going anywhere. With that said though, if Milan got close to that 175m from a Saudi club and you could replace Leao with Nico Williams, add Riccardo Calafiori, and still have 70m for a CF, you'd have a tough time convincing me that we shouldn't take it.

It looks like the club is not buying Zirkzee based on principle. If the price was 50MM and 5MM in commissions probably the transaction would have already be done but they don't want to set a precedent of paying that huge amount to an agent. Remember the Donnaruma situation, every two years a renewal was necessary and again the agent would cash an exhorbitant amount, and that kind of deal makes no sense and other player's agents would demand the same.

Gimenez is a polarizing player when you ask people from where he’s from (CONCACAF). Yes he had a great season in Eredivisie but that’s a goal scoring friendly league. I just don’t think people from USA or Mexico see him in that light. Dovbyk is the answer here IMO and is a much harder worker too than Gimenez. One note, don’t expect Manchester United to pay that agents fee as well. They have a different management now and they won’t be doing anymore deals like this from Zirkzee.

when players release clause are activated it is all on the players and their agents and the club they are in is out of the picture. Zirkzee choosing to go to ManU is a purely financial decision and he isn't looking to compete sporting wise because ManU is horrible.

I’ll never understand how the sport of football (soccer) allows agents to be paid by the buying club and not from the player? It’s such a poor way to handle these transactions and really shocking it’s allowed to transpire this way. The clubs are buying the player not the agent. The player should be paying his agent a percentage of his new contract. Again absolutely ridiculous this is common accepted practices in football.

I think this is going to go down just like last summer. We sell a prominent profile and then trigger all the deals already out in place. This probably means nothing will happen until the Euro Cup is over. I believe in our management, though; we are not a team able to purchase 40/50 mln € players on a whim yet, but there is a much bigger picture going on with our second team being confirmed. Undeniably, we have a plan, but I think we might have to wait a couple of years to see it through.

On Zirkze, one jurnalist said that Milan should accept that his market price is 55m regardless on how the payment being splitted On Rabiot, he can be an added factor to get Theo renewing at Milan since they are close friends. On Artem, there is a chance that he may not quickly adapt to serie A.
