I don't understand why People don't keep their Air Conditioner trimmed around. It would probably make it work a lot better if they did.

Yeah they shouldn’t have planted their Hosta’s close to the unit. I put them around my home, but there isn’t a damn thing around my AC unit. Not having high bills or unnecessary repairs! I like my Hosta’s and all. Seriously folks are so vein about seeing or hearing an AC unit.

Don’t tell HO that the AC system works by moving “hot air” from inside to outside thru condenser. Then they believe it literally and not blocking the fan is sufficient. That’s how Steve often explains it.

The worst is when the landscapers bury the unit in mulch.

That drain was plugobuggo! Good job going all Ted Cook on it !😉

Your adaptor for the vacuum to connect the AC condensing discharge outside is only about $20 on Amazon. A must have for all homeowners who want to keep their lines open. They should vacuum at least twice a year to minimize build up. It is what I do to avoid the midnight call to AC guy. You'd be surprised how many AC techs don't even know it exists.

we used tablets in drip pan that killed slime growing. Heat & humidity in attic will determine Ur schedule. Be a active cleaner filter changing user. or pay $$$. Schedule a/c & Heat cleaning if you're crippled or mentally challenged.

I charge extra for calls with crap overgrown around the condensing units and hard to access air handlers. A siphon hose and a 5 gallon bucket is very fast and efficient for draining overflow pans.

Lost my AC the other day due to a clogged condensate line. Always good when it's an easy fix.

I had mine ice up after the condensate line got blocked, water had dripped onto the air filter. My Hydro unit is standing up

Just bought that vaccum attachment for drainlines. I used to blow them out with nitrogen. But this seems more efficient.
