If you are over on powergrid for this fit, make sure you've trained "Hybrid Weapon Rigging" The turret rigs make your guns use more power grid. This skill reduces that. I got it to fit at level II with no implants. Or you can use an EG-601 or EG-602 power grid implant. They're cheap.

@@tomgreen9896 With Power Grid Management V, Hybrid Weapon Rigging III and Advanced Weapon Upgrades III without any implants I am 2 percent short in power. Implants would be too expensive for me. I get killed too often. Instead I've replaced 2 of the prototype guns with 2 'Popper' rail guns. They cost 7 millions a piece and have a slightly shorter range.

I got blabbed on my first run. My target range was much shorter than expected. Maybe I forgot to switch something on? I fiddled too much and two frigates came close enough to point me. Keep the distance! In my next version I will use 7 x 425 mm Gauss Prototypes and a single 350 mm Gauss Prototype instead of using two 425 mm 'Popper' . That will save the same 2 percent power but save me 13 million ISK! Next time I will practice in the asteroid belt before taking on the Triglavians. The Abyss is easier; but the Triglavians seem more fun and in my opinion fits better in the story. For me this is not cheap; but I think it'l be fun.

Consider carefully if you think this is worth it. It will take you forever to get positive standings with the Triglavians. And say goodbye to easy travel trough Pochven.

There is a difference in the ship's maximum Power Grid. I'm showing 1,093.8 vs the 1115.6 in the video, with Power Grid Management at V of course. Is there another skill that raises Power Grid, or is an implant actually 100% needed for this? Fine if it is, but for guide clarity.

A tip if you want to get your transveral to 0 against a target chasing you, set 'Keep At Range' to 1000km and you will travel directly away from them at a 180 degree angle

So I finally worked up the nerve to hunt trig. I use basically this setup with 2 key differences. Omega clone so I can use the micro warp and I have 2 nagas together instead of just the one. I found that the DPS of one was too lacking (granted I am going cheap to the max, no implants, no booster, no faction ammo.) It works so amazing! Very safe as long as you are careful and know what you're doing and very cheap. The fit barely breaks 100m, so much more accessible than the Golem/Paladin. A little more work, but so much safer. I got back and salvage in a Noctis after, leaving one toon behind to watch for problems. I only have one comment after doing this on "regular" trig fleets at planets (aka NOT the wormhole). They have a very, very strong and annoying tendency to warp away if you warp to their grid and then warp away. I was being super safe and scouting, even making a "staging BM" to warp back to give my opener maximum range, and they would warp away before my combat fleet got back. This means, it seems that warping out and back would not work well against these fleets, so without the micro jump, you would be quite handicapped and would probably lose anything you couldn't kill before you warp out. I no longer make the staging bookmark, I just have to turn and use my microwarp immediately on landing. Still, I also wanted to say a big THANK YOU ACEFACE! for your videos and inspiring me to do this. The first Ikitursa I build will be in your honor.

What I like to do, is using the _Local bookmarks_ shortcut (default [L] key) - this way I can quickly toggle a list of all of the saved locations that are always exclusive only to that particular star-system I'm currently in.

I used to do this very same tactic against EDENCOM fleets. Though that was back during the invasion. It still can be profitable for the t2 salvage you can generate (amarr wrecks of Crusader/Deacon/Curse will give Intact Armor Plates).

Aceface 13:45 the game already has UI-button named: "keep at range". So you dont need to look at anything and click "in space" on opposite direction, just right-click on that button and "Set default distance" to value you wish to be at from that NPCs and you will improve your tracking by pressing this button when NPC is selected.

Nevertheless i sadly made no money in the end, because once i started, people with marauders and a hecate warped to the wormhole were i was at killing both my MTUs. Something in the game must have changed. Pyfa says that an alpha with max skilled doesnt have the powergrid (maybe that's what your boosters were for?). As a Gallente newbie, can this work with a Talos ? The range bonus is not as good as the Naga but do you think this is douable ? I wonder that because I've trained some of the armor tanking skills but nothing about sheild. But maybe this build/tactic as nothing to do with tanking. BTW, thanks for your vids. Realy helps me (re)begining this wonderfull game. (I would realy like to fly the Talos, for once a gallente ship as a good looking desing... >_

a year late with the reply... but no, Talos isn't a good fit for this. You can use it, but you'd have to be even more cautious and play it riskier. This content is best done on a Naga and at a distant second is the Nado. Talos and Oracle seem to be better suited at being DPS bombs instead of long range snipers.

I am omega, so I am going to use the micro drive, and possibly 2 ships working together, but I really need to figure out how to do this well. I've accepted that if I want to do anything real with abyss industry I need to do T2 and that means doing trig hunting. Trying this in the snipe battlecruiser with T2 guns seems very approachable. EDIT: After simulating the fit, I wasn't sure about the T2 guns. T2 ammo is kind of odd for this. The long range ends up shooting out to 325km and I can only lock to 150km. The short range ends up way too short, so now it feels like I don't really see a benefit to T2 guns. Maybe I'm missing something, but the t1 ammo is super duper cheap and it does MORE damage than the long range T2.

so i spent my 150mil and got all set up. now i cant find any trigs. the dscan method you showing does not work for me. do you have to "Look at" every planet to get the dscan to work? then when by some sort of sheer luck i happen to pick them up i fly to the planet and there is nothing there but if i do a 360 scan it still shows them with just a "-" as the distance. im feeling very frustrated ive been at this for hours and im feeling like i just wasted my money

Your warpout bookmark is on the grid with the WH, rats are shooting at you (with no damage) at 21:32 . This makes rats come closer to you even when you are on your warpout / reload / regen point. in effect, once you warp to s3, rats are closer to you then they should be (102km, i.e. rat is basically on s2, whereas it was 50-ish km away from s2, since they spent that time burning towards you). Were you to spend too much time on warpout, rats would reach s3 and you would warp in their midst. Having the warpout not on the same grid as wh would make for a longer turn-around time, but it would keep the rats from creeping towards your next warpin point.

Is there any tool or website which can tell you all skills you have to improve to make a fitting work ? E.g if pyfa shows the powergrid at 112% - I find it pretty annoying to find the right skills, to make it work.

In pyfa you can right click on certain modules and then adjust your skills. And in the in game fitting window you can show info of fitted modules and look at what affects the fitting requirements of modules. In this particular case my guess would be that skilling hybrid weapon rigging would decrease the power grid usage penalty of your turrets and therefore decreasing the power grid they use.

A Gila doesn't have the tank of a Battlecruiser or Battleship, don't think it would be a good idea.

@@dag_of_the_west5416 Tank isn't actually any use in this. A sniper doesn't wear juggernaut armor. We have done these in groups of extremely cursed Cormorants... however, I dunno about a Gila. Drone aggro might be a problem at that range and Gila is just more costly while not being the suitable kind of ship for this. Now... if there was a way to use sentries at insane ranges... it might be viable.

@@anujeetroy9715 when Triglavians were first encountered early days (first couple weeks) there was limited Intel on them and I was hunting them in a Drake and later a Praxis. Range and Tank definitely mattered especially when Alpha solo hunting waves. And yes they used to aggro drones.

@@dag_of_the_west5416 idk what you were doing, but if you were fitting for tank while sniping, then you were doing it wrong. If you were fitting for tank, then why were you fitting for range anyway? If you're gonna tank, tank. if you're gonna kite, kite. Doing both of them in a mediocre manner is straight up bad advice. And drone aggro is not the problem. Sure, they can aggro drones but it doesn't matter if you're on top of your drones and can easily pull them back. It's the distance that is the issue in this case.

i recently plexed my account by ratting in a gila (510 d.p.s.) in drone space in my null-sec corp and selling escalations (10/10). however, i barely get over 30 mil isk/ hour. i have looked at several of your abyssal video guides, but I’m afraid of getting blown up in abyss since i have no prior experience, and have relatively weak skills (about 6 mil sp, spread across different combat skills and mining) i don’t know what i should do to get better isk/hour

It seems like most of Ace's fits are drone, and missile/hybrid gun fits. I'd start skilling for a max Gila fit. Also you could start off at the low end of the Abyssal Deadspace sites; basically run one with a ship you could easily replace if lost. Also try out fits, and run the deadspace sites on Singularity (Sisi) first to get used to them, and this way if you lose a ship it's not a problem.

Start at low tier (like tier 0 or 1) if you scared getting blown, try to learn the triglavian character wave and ships, And sometimes they will thrown an almost impossible to pass wave, getting blown and learn....ace has quiet good fit for the abyss also

just a point on matching transversal, looking at the enemy all zoomed out and going straight away is not how you do it. zoom in on your own ship and look for the arrow which indicates your selected target's actual exact transversal, then point your ship to match this line exactly. you will have 0 transversal at least for the first hit till the enemy adjusts orbit again

If you join them you still can attack them but it's counterintuitive since if you kill enough they will be enemies to you like before

@@Aceyface so basic you can do these hunts if your standing with them is higher than negative they will be still friends then. reminds me of the faction missions were you have some times to fight against another faction and get negative standing from them. what you than have to make up again. your tips were great thx for uploading.

How do you even find them. I been scanning, traveling looking for WH and just one apeared but with no triglavians. So far this fit made me lost isk. I been doing combat sites but i cant even do a 4/10 site in this one...

Very epic fit I don't do as much dmg as I would with t2 rail guns but it still works and will definitely net me enough to plex I'm training into a raven to do level 4's and hope to get into a golem

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( So I'm an alpha account I have spent weeks working on the skills for this build. I have sunk tons of isk for a newb into this and this does not work. The first problem I ran into is he says his "alpha skills are good" what he doesn't tell you is that essentially you need to max out your alpha skills in all the related fields of this build so don't think you are going to start an alpha account and do this at the end of the week. - Next problem - THE BIG BIG BIG PROBLEM So I followed this video to the T and I'm pumped and crazy nervous doing my first Trig run. So its definitely overwhelming as a newb. However you will learn quickly and manage as long as the wormhole protection fleet is there. I cleared the wormhole protection fleet and the first spawn came through. So I'm plugging along killing stuff I might have even cleared the second wave (not sure if I fully got through the second). Then to my shock a Triglavin warps in right on top of me at my 3rd jump out location. Like wtf.... he never talked about this. I had to warpout to my safe spot. I warp back in and there is nothing absolutely nothing everything retreated back to the wormhole. Out of nowhere this trig warps back in on top of me and starts pounding me again..... like seriously wtf he doesn't talk anything about this and this essentially makes trig hunting impossible as the Trig that jumps on you will rip you apart. I have tried multiple times and have had to repair the ship to the tune of millions. Unless I'm missing something or didn't explain something this build is worthless.

"Dirt cheap" even, LOL. My most expensive ship so far. Most of my ships are between 0.8 and 8 millions. Only my Cormorant and Caracal are around 12 millions. I'm certainly going to take out insurance for this one. Still working on a few skills before I take her out for a spin.

i have to say this is wrong for a new player becouse they gonna reject their standing , becouse still alot of minor victory in low and nullsec , also the povchen content, they will be limited and a new guy has to their standing and the choice to go every way , the dont need to kill triv only rogue drones and they get 2 standing with edecom and triv, killing triv and edecom are dumb for a new player, but if they kill rogue drone in povchen they are good

in home system u can win 200 to 350 mill of loot of the npc that they kill other npc , so dont waste ur standing killind triv or edecom and with a sunesis u can loot and salvage in there, and a few people live in home systems

@@LaPiraguaAsesina in all the system of povchen u can salvage but the more quieter and no so danguerous are home system becosue to use the gate in there u need to have standing with triv 7 so no many people can pass the gate , but in the other systems are more people hunting and farming and fighting so more danguerous for a new guy but any system is good if u are aware of the risk involve the activity
