When the opponent is strong in close-range combat (shotgun, handgun, etc.), use EULE while keeping a distance, but if you want to attack with a shield rather than defend against bullets, it is important to make the opponent waste as much EN as possible and not let the opponent move sideways during AB. For example (I use HOKUSHI for generators and NGI for boosters), if the opponent approaches with AB, use QB behind you, leave a little EN, wait for EN to recover, then rise, and when the opponent comes within EULE range (about 120m), shoot out a shield. After that, depending on the opponent's actions, you can either descend as it is, or use QB to get behind the opponent, and if possible, repeat the same action. To be honest, I don't think it's an effective use against light ACs with rifles, but the main use is to scatter them around when you're reloading, when you run out of EN and it becomes difficult to dodge, or in unexpected close-range combat. When approaching an opponent with multiple missiles using normal movement or QB, there is a time when you can move forward while projecting a shield, and when you move through the shield, you can defend against only the missiles, but I haven't established this tactic enough to be able to put it into words. However, there is no doubt that this is very effective. How about something like this for now?
