This was a newly refurbished P-15 that replaced an older P-15 in the same spot. This was also my first P-15 I heard in person and it was intense! Shoutout to my friends for driving me an hour away to see this siren! I apologize for the slight shakiness. It was quite windy. You can hear one of the 2T22’s in town occasionally.

I enjoyed it! Also, I made a mistake. This is a P-15 inside a P-10 body. Jeb McCranie put a 15 hp motor in it apparently.

@@joelrobinsonwxsrn Dang, I should've known. I didn't think P-10s could be high pitched like this but everyone always puts P-10/P-15 (sometimes even when it doesn't sound like it is).

@@Siren1000T1 Yeah! I was really confused. The P-10 intake definitely threw me off.

@@joelrobinsonwxsrn Technically the air intake design doesn't really matter. It's really the motor (the part you can't see) that is the main thing. Plus, A lot of P-15s have used the older intake design as they too were also sold along with the 10 HP ones. It mainly has to do with the wind up speed and the pitch of the siren which would probably best tell what HP it is. There are some videos on YT I've seen of P-10s that I believe are titled incorrectly cause the wind up speed and pitch is too much for 10HP. People should just really be careful how they advertise and REALLY confirm before doing.
