With my slow transition to becoming a full Wisconsinite, I recently got a job and moved up to the Jefferson/Dane county area. So, every first Wednesday is a fun day for me now especially as I get more familiar with the area. With that, I have become kind of a regular with visiting the Johnson Creek FD, and after some talking with the fire chief, I was granted permission to set it off in attack! Unfortunately hi-lo was never fixed on it, however I think it will be fixed in the coming years (hopefully). Attack is their fire signal, but I accidentally hit the old EMS call button first hence why it did a short alert (which technically it was trying to do hi-lo but broken flashers caused it to not do that).
I felt very uneasy setting off the fire call signal, and after it went off a few of the fire fighters came over to the control panel and expressed concern about it confusing locals & other fire fighters, so, this is something I probably will not be doing again and I do not recommend asking for them to do it if you go here yourself. I think I speak for everyone in saying I do not want it to get shut off from noise complaints! I might suggest to them that the fire signal should be tested after the county test, so we'll see where that goes.
As always this banshee super was super loud, even inside the fire department below it. Also unexpectedly met up with Benicio and Charlotte, making this already fun test just that much more fun! Thank you all for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!
Big thanks to the Johnson Creek fire department for the hospitality and for letting me set it off.
