I've always thought I was alone in this type of world. I always saw my friends have such close bonds with their mom and I was always super jealous. I'm so sorry you have to feel this pain. And this song just perfectly describes the realization of the trauma she's caused you. But is also perfectly describes the yearning of a mother to want you. I've been told by so many people to just drop my mother, but at the same time. She's the only supportive parental figure that I have. I'm trans, my father did not take it well. But she did. She's caused me so much trauma. Sometimes I just want to cry out for my mom when the smallest thing occurs. I long for the healthy relationship with my mother. But she's the reason for the majority of my trauma. So, I thank you. For creating such a incredible song that made me realize I'm not alone.
