Fail to see why anyone would click the not like icon but there you go, a great model to look at, Aldo I see you’ve employed fibre optics to give a more subtle lighting effect which looks in scale to the aircraft. Excellent model and great video 👍

Beautiful work of art my friend! It’s not easy to get weathering that looks realistic but you nail it every time...then you add lights...Showoff! ;)

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwsoome (not enough w letter :) ) I have the SUFA project about to start and I have some questions about what you used : - which reference of led ? micro 0402 or 0603, etc...? - how do you glue them? - if you used arduino nano, do you have the program? (i think i'll use nano and not a NE555) - all leds are in parallel? (for example, all the same color in the cocpit are connected together to a unique resistor?) Sorry about these questions but I'm about to make the led order and it costs almost 8€/10LED.... I'm impressed by your work and I enjoy each viewing of your model building. thanks a lot, looking forward your next built

I agree with everyone else. It's amazing bro. I found this post to be particularly mesmerizing. It's an awesome "16". Do u ever sleep? Heh, Heh. I really dig the lights and the strobe looks very authentic too. You've really got the Midas touch my friend. Back ground audio was great too. Was that your band? I'll be keeping an ear to the ground for a P-47. I hope it's coming up on your list soon.

Thanks bro,, it was a bit tricky this one, not much room inside for even the wiring, it was a 2 man job closing it up, my build that I'm working on now, SU27/30, is totally the opposite, at 72 cm long,,huge,,. Hoping to get to the P47 soon.

A little embarrassed to say I had to look up cm to inches 28 & 3/8". Weak American schooling. I was never taught metric system. Guess it's time to catch up to the rest of the world. lol Yeah that's huge alright. Lookin forward to it. Glad you're enjoying your time.

Where did you buy that?

I bought the kit online, here in the UK. I'd not seen one for ages, academy kits are difficult to get here, and when it does pop up, you pay over the odds,,think it cost me £90

No problem,, After all the post shading has been done, I added; dark grey panel lines from the rear of the canopy, forwards to the nose, and light grey, to the rear of the aircraft. Then I use 'Mr Weathering paints', to add the basic wear and grime marks, white first, then brown on the spine and just under the tail, then som black in various places where it might get dirtiest, also in with some of the brown. Then I use enamel textured weathering washes, for the fuel stains, if you apply it like a panel line wash and then, with a cotton swab, with enamel thinner on it(quite wet, but not soaking) you just tap the cotton swab, on the enamel weathering, it will blend and spread like a stain. Because the enamel stain effect has a glossy texture, the thinner spreads that semi gloss look, and it will dry looking still slightly wet,, not glossy, we don't want that. Hope this makes some sense to you. And please share this video😉
