Superb playing and superb tips / tones here! I bought two amp 1's and 3 xvive thomas blug signature pedals and they all sound fantastic. The fact that Thomas walks you through the amp 1 and how to dial in the tones is a real help and an eye opener.

Klasse wie immer! Ich hatte den kleinen 800er Marshall auch hier. Toller Amp! Ich hab dann natürlich auch A/B verglichen. Okay, ich brauchte 3x so lange zum tweaken hehehe... Der Amp1 ist einfach genaial. Man hörte keinen Unterschied mehr. Und die für mich größten Vorteile des Amp1: es geht deutlich lauter, ohne das es anfängt zu matschen und man hat halt ein supergutes Noisegate parat, was ich sehr schätze!

Hallo Martin, Man muss die A/B Vergleiche wirklich machen, sonst glaubt man es nicht, oder man findet die Einstellungen nicht. Für mich immer eine Inspiration...;-)

Das war ein schöner Stream gestern! Großes Lob an Dich, Thomas, weil du es schaffst mit und ohne Gäste ganz problemlos 2 Stunden richtig gut zu unterhalten und dabei noch viel Information verständlich vermittelst :) Fragen zum Studioaufbau, den Ihr da verwendet: Alle Amps gehen durch die selbe Blubox und an dieser hängt dann eine Box, damit eine echte Last da ist, richtig? Was ist das für eine Box? Und hörst Du selbst nur die echte Box, oder hast du auch noch Monitore, die Dir die Blubox zuspielen? Grüße aus Berlin, Flo

Ja. Alle amps gehen über eine BluBOX an der eine Marshall Box als Last angeschlossen ist direkt ins Pult. Ich höre den Sound über einen kleinen Studiomonitor. Also keine Gitarrenbox im Raum...;-)

Not really, we are making progress!!! But the AMPX is so complex, that it’s hard to tell when EVERYTHING is finished. Currently I estimate something like mid 2021, but it’s worth waiting as ever day that AMPX is getting better...;-) be surprised!

Thomas, if I would build my own 2 button mini switch like yours but with led’s could it be powered by the cable going into Amp1 and could you please tell me what value of resistors to use? Thanks

The LEDs will be powered by the cable. No resistor needed...;-)

Hallo, you speak little bit about custom control nobs, i have Silver edition and custom control nobs crackle, do you have advise to fix it or make it better? Thanx

It’s okay as long as they don’t drop out. You can get those sprayed with Vaseline spray, but it requires to open the unit. Then it’s even better to replace them. So I would leave it until you need to get them serviced.

The Engl has some mids that we don’t have exactly... On the other side we have that tone that the Engl doesn’t have...;-) 😂

I love the amp1 but that engl was fucking killer. I am going to musikproduktiv on 5 dec to get the amp 1 mercury! It took me a long time to get the money since im only sixteen now. But super hyped! Maybe show how to get that nuno tone with the mercury edition? Love the video!
