Acadia National Park | Precipice Loop Trail | Champlain Mountain | Maine Hike | Summer Hike

We completed this hike of the Precipice Loop in Acadia National Park on 09/10/23. This is one of my favorite trails in the United States that I have completed. The views of the harbor are amazing and you really get the full feel of the park from Champlain Mountain Summit. As mentioned, I do recommend doing the full loop and taking the Orange and Black Path back across to the Precipice Trail Loop to get the full experience. A lot of people were continuing straight down Champlain North Ridge Trail to walk the Park Loop Road back to their car and I really feel you miss a lot of the experience as the Orange and Black Trail is a ton of fun! You may just have to wait a few minutes for people going up the Precipice Loop once you connect back down. In all, this is a quick up and down at about 1500 feet of elevation and around 3 miles. I accidentally turned off my app so I did not get completely accurate estimates of time and distance. Enjoy and stay safe!

I just use a Gopro for all of my shots. There is much better equipment and editing software, I just don't have the time with all of the hiking:)

Gopro and a basic editing software is all I use.
