Thank you very much @AJ Higgins. This is very useful, and I needed something similar for a cover of "Softly & Tenderly" that I found a few months ago. I mis-heard part of a verse, but only after a few weeks did I understand that I had indeed mis-heard the singers, because what I thought they sang didn't seem to be grounded in any part of scripture (or metaphors about salvation) that I knew of. A rigorous search of the internet finally showed me the particular error of my ways, rigorous because the lyrics that were used in this particular cover weren't in the standard versions. Still, I find it embarrassing that I heard "at the aft portal", not, as was sung, "at the heart's portal"
